Cloudflare Realtime — planned, preview only.

Cloudflare Realtime

Live voice and video, on Cloudflare's edge.

Interactalk will use Cloudflare Realtime (formerly Cloudflare Calls) for live audio and video — WebRTC, relayed from a data center near each user, with TURN for strict networks.

RealtimeKit

Ready-made SDKs with UI for voice/video rooms. Fastest path for Interactalk rooms.

Planned

Realtime SFU

Low-level WebRTC server. Backend creates sessions and tracks; browsers connect to the SFU. App Secret stays on the backend, never in browser code.

Planned

TURN

Relay when firewalls block direct connections. Free when paired with the SFU.

Planned

Local preview only — no Cloudflare call yet

Press Start to preview your own camera and mic in this browser only. Nothing is sent to Cloudflare, to any server, or to any other person. A real Realtime session needs a trusted backend (Cloudflare Worker) that creates the session — that backend does not exist yet.

Preview stopped.

How a real call will work

Browser → Cloudflare Worker (trusted backend) → Realtime SFU API (rtc.live.cloudflare.com/v1, session + tracks) → Browser WebRTC → AI agent joins as a participant, or via the WebSocket adapter for audio.

Pricing to verify at build time: SFU/TURN $0.05/GB egress after 1,000 GB free per month; RealtimeKit 10,000 participant minutes free, then $0.002/min audio/video, $0.0005/min audio-only. Do not budget on "beta free" alone.
